Hey Xbox Insiders! With the holidays in full swing, we’ve got a special gift for you, and we’re super excited to unveil it together!
Last month, we shared some fantastic news: Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream selected games they own directly on TVs and browsers via supported devices like smartphones, PCs, and tablets across all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is live. We also announced that come next year, players will have the capability to stream on Xbox consoles as well.
Starting today, those of you in the Xbox Insiders Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings can get a sneak peek at this feature on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
### Stream Your Own Game on Your Xbox Console
If you’re an Xbox Insider and a Game Pass Ultimate member, you can now stream select games you own—not just from the Game Pass gallery but also from your personal library—right on your console. This option is available in the 28 countries supporting Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta), and you can find the complete list of games here.
The “Stream your own game” feature empowers you to dive into select games you own on your Xbox console by streaming them. This not only saves you time and precious storage space but also gives you seamless access to your games through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).
To kick off streaming from your Xbox console, just navigate to My games & apps > Full library > Owned Games. If a game supports cloud play, you’ll notice a cloud icon next to it. Use filters to quickly find the cloud-compatible games by choosing Filter > Ready to play > Cloud gaming. To get started, simply select the game and tap Play with Cloud Gaming. In the future, you’ll also be able to launch games straight from the Store app and stream via the Xbox app on Windows PC.
