We’re thrilled to keep expanding the world of gaming by making more games available to everyone, no matter where they are or what device they’re using. Many of our Game Pass Ultimate members are already diving into the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) experience to enjoy fantastic titles from the Game Pass lineup on multiple gadgets.
Today, we’re particularly excited to share some big news: we’re teaming up with LG Electronics to introduce the Xbox app to their newest LG Smart TVs later this year. This is a game-changer for Game Pass Ultimate members who will soon be able to play their favorite titles directly from the Xbox app on compatible LG Smart TVs through Xbox Cloud Gaming. This partnership is all about giving gamers more options for how and where they dive into the games they love.
Before long, LG Smart TV owners will have the chance to explore the Gaming Portal, offering direct access to an extensive library of Game Pass Ultimate games. This includes much-loved titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and upcoming hits such as Avowed, which is set to launch on February 18, 2025.
Moving on to another exciting development, let’s talk about streaming your own games. We recently added a feature allowing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream selected games they own, even if they’re not in the Game Pass lineup. This will also be available on the Xbox app for LG Smart TVs, enabling you to stream over 50 personal games, like NBA 2K25 and Hogwarts Legacy, among others.
Expect more updates about the Xbox Cloud Gaming experience on LG TVs in the months ahead. In the meantime, if you’re interested in learning how Xbox Cloud Gaming lets you play across various devices, including TVs, smartphones, PCs, and tablets, head over to xbox.com/cloudgaming for all the details.
