Breaking away from their usual reticence, Insomniac Games chose to respond to a comment made in response to a tweet concerning the Spider-Man 2 PC port. The critical tweet accused the studio of neglecting PS5 enthusiasts who are anxious for Wolverine news, adding a touch of sarcasm with “Such a great team.”
Insomniac generally avoids engaging with tweets of this nature, but this time, their social media team decided to chime in. “We’ll share news about the game when we are ready to share it,” they emphasized, stressing the importance of the word “we.” They continued, “That will always be our answer. We can’t act on everything requested when things take time, resources, and the greenlight to share them.”
Nonetheless, Insomniac did reassure fans that they are “actively” working on Wolverine, which should provide some comfort to those eager for updates.

The studio expressed how heartbroken they were over this breach, but assured everyone that it hasn’t derailed their development or altered their planned announcements.
