This cross-platform open-world ARPG, which is already live on PS5 and supports seamless data-sharing with PC and mobile, is about to get even better. Come March 26, version 2.2, “Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower,” is set to roll out. It’s packed with new characters, maps, gameplay enhancements, and plenty more. Plus, as a special treat, players who complete the Main Quest will snag a free 5-Star weapon!

Embark on a New Adventure: Discover Avinoleum’s Secrets

Reflecting on the storyline of version 2.0, the enigmatic Cartethyia and the missing Imperator still hold mysteries that beg to be unraveled. The upcoming version 2.2 promises to shed light with its new Main Quests: The Maiden, The Defier, and The Death Crier. The adventure kicks off in Beohr Waters, just behind the grand Porto-Veno Castle, guiding Rovers into Avinoleum, a floating region in mid-air. Within its bounds, we’ll uncover hidden narratives and truths about Rinascita and Sentinel. During this epic quest, players can score the 5-Star Sword, Bloodpact’s Pledge, for free.

Introducing New Character: Cantarella & Rover’s Aero Attribute

Meet Cantarella, a new 5-Star Resonator debuting in version 2.2. As the 36th Lead of the Fisalia family, she brings deep-sea mysteries to life, wielding a Rectifier. Her attacks, aided by toxic jellyfish, are as graceful as they are deadly, drawing special energy called Trance. By unleashing this power, she can activate a mesmerizing Mirage state, immersing players in an underwater wonderland. Cantarella can heal her team by using her Forte Gauge in combat, and with her acting Resonance Skill, she can halt enemies in their tracks. When her Resonance Liberation kicks in, she orchestrates long-lasting combo attacks, enhancing damage for both Havoc and Resonance Skills for future Resonators.

Also in version 2.2, after mastering Spectro and Havoc, Rover is set to unlock the new Aero attribute. With it, they can wield a one-handed sword, glide through the air, and strike down foes. Under specific conditions, Rover’s aerial maneuvers can also heal the team. Aero Rover executes Resonance Skills in mid-air, turning Negative Status effects into an Aero Erosion Effect. Triggering the Outro Skill amplifies the maximum Aero Erosion stacks. And, with enough battle energy, Rover can summon a massive sword from the sky to smash the ground beneath. Post Resonance Liberation, Aero Damage is inflicted on adversaries while team members are healed simultaneously.

A New Story Awaits: Cantarella’s Tale – A Fleeting Night’s Dream

Cantarella’s Companion Story, “A Fleeting Night’s Dream,” also arrives with version 2.2. This storyline begins with a cryptic letter from the Ghost Girl, inviting Rover to the Night of Remembrance in Egla Town. Here, a mysterious girl with a red hat will unravel secrets long hidden in Porto-Veno Castle. Join Cantarella on her journey to the Sea of Ghosts, and discover the concealed stories waiting to be awakened.

Explore New Terrain and Challenges

Step into Avinoleum, a region that once boasted as the pride of Ragunna. Now, it elevates Sentinel towards the heavens, ever elusive. Scars from past confrontations remain, with Tacet Discords roaming in the aftermath of the Dark Tide outbreak. Gravity here is wholly inverted, positions flipped, making the dome descend towards the earth.

As Rover explores, new gameplay challenges like Gravity Adjustment stand in the way. The area brims with Gravity Calibrators, which, when activated, allow players to alter gravity’s direction.
