Meta typically rolls out its latest headsets toward year-end, and usually, you’d have to wait until the following holiday season for the headsets to go on sale. But this year is turning out differently, especially for Amazon, which is serving up a fantastic Black Friday deal on the Quest 3S.

The Quest 3S, Meta’s latest creation, hit the shelves just about a month and a half ago. Naturally, we weren’t counting on seeing a significant markdown on it until next year.

However, to our surprise, Amazon US is offering a fantastic Black Friday deal on the Quest 3S. Priced at the regular $300 for the 128GB model, the deal sweetens the pot with a $75 digital credit for Amazon. Just make sure you click the ‘Redeem’ button on the product page or use the code QUEST75 during checkout.

For many shoppers, an Amazon credit is as good as cash. This effectively knocks the price down to about $225, making it even cheaper than a Nintendo Switch.

Purchasing the Quest 3S on Amazon during this deal also gets you the usual perks: a free copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow, which we thoroughly enjoyed in our review, and a three-month trial of Quest+, giving you access to a selection of VR games.

It’s worth noting that this Black Friday offer is exclusive to the Quest 3S (128GB) model. Unfortunately, there’s no similar deal for the 256GB version or the more expensive Quest 3.

So, why is this Black Friday offer such a steal? The Quest 3S already provides incredible value at its attractive $300 price tag. We didn’t expect to see major discounts on it this holiday season, given its recent launch.
