Top Xbox Games: Game Pass Elevates Far Cry New Dawn into the Top 20

This week’s Xbox gameplay rankings haven’t seen much movement at the very top, yet there’s still excitement brewing among players. With Far Cry New Dawn re-emerging on Game Pass, it seems more gamers are diving back into its achievements. As new Game Pass titles gear up for release, we can expect some fresh contenders climbing into the top 40 soon.

Sniper Elite: Resistance continues to hold its own, nudging up to seventh place after its recent availability on Game Pass. If you’re on the fence about trying it, Sean’s glowing review might just sway you. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite has regained ground, jumping from 23rd to 17th, thanks to its latest update.

Far Cry New Dawn makes its comeback in the chart, sliding into 19th place since joining Game Pass last week. However, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has slipped from 18th to 22nd. It’s a fantastic title, but with so many Game Pass arrivals anticipated in the coming months, managing multiple big AAA games can be a real challenge.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black experienced a surge with its surprise Xbox release a few weeks back, but has since tumbled significantly, moving from 11th to 24th. Meanwhile, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, another Game Pass newbie, has dipped to 31st.

This week, we also see the return of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II at 33rd and No Man’s Sky at 36th. Both are tempting players back with substantial updates. However, Eternal Strands, which debuted on Game Pass recently, has dropped to 38th, leaving Hell Let Loose to close the chart at 40th.

Surprisingly absent from the top 40 is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Despite being eagerly awaited, its hefty RPG nature and lack of Game Pass access might mean players are holding off for now.
