Take-Two Commits to Supporting Nintendo Switch 2

Take-Two Interactive has given a nod towards the future, hinting that they are likely to back the Nintendo Switch 2, though they are keeping the specifics under wraps for now.

Through the years, this top-tier publisher has extended its portfolio to the original Switch, bringing gamers incredible titles like BioShock: The Collection, the Borderlands Legendary Collection, and XCOM 2 Collection. Not to forget the revamped Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and the fresh faces of New Tales from the Borderlands, LEGO 2K Drive, and the latest additions, NBA 2K25 and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.

Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, shed some light on their strategy during the company’s Q3 2025 earnings call. He stated, “Our history with Nintendo goes way back. We’ve always been there when it made sense for our releases. Nintendo platforms once predominantly attracted younger crowds, which influenced what we rolled out. But with the Switch, and now with the upcoming Switch 2, there’s room for everyone. Take, for instance, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII—it fits right in on the Switch. While we don’t have any major announcements right now, supporting the Switch 2 seems like a natural step.”
