Alien: Rogue Incursion makes its debut today, ready for action on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets. For those with a Quest, you’ll have to hang tight until February next year for its release. Meanwhile, the folks over at Survios are already rolling up their sleeves for ‘Part Two’ of this thrilling saga.
In our journey through Part One, which we thoroughly reviewed, we rated it a decent 7 out of 10. Its atmospheric world and gripping storyline pulled us in, though the repetitive enemy engagements and a rather harsh save system left a bit to be desired.
Though it holds its own as a standalone adventure, offering a solid eight hours of pulse-pounding gameplay drenched in Xenomorph lore and engaging plot twists, Part Two’s arrival feels inevitable—it just leaves you wanting more.
Details on the upcoming sequel remain a bit mysterious, but Survios hints at fresh challenges beyond the repetitive waves of Part One’s Xenomorphs. They’ve teased that “Zula’s story continues, facing fiercer enemies and harder hurdles,” and it’s already in the works.
But before diving into Part Two, the Quest release of Part One takes priority, set exclusively for the Quest 3/3S on February 13th, 2025. Achieving those dynamically rich levels and intricate physics interactions on Quest 3’s mobile platform is no small feat—as evident by the delayed release.
Still, with Part One’s core systems already established, we’re optimistic for a quicker turnaround on Zula Hendricks’ next, and perhaps final, showdown to purge the rogue science station of every last menacing Xenomorph.
