How to Join the Fun
To compete, players must have a Nintendo Account configured for one of the eligible countries and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Whether it’s a paid subscription or a free trial, all memberships qualify. Participants need to access the game on their Nintendo Switch and enter an event tourney match via the "Online" section, specifically under "Official Tourney Qualifiers." The goal is to play at least one match to get on board.
Tourney Score Explained
The Tourney score is the key to winning this event. It’s a unique rating system that evaluates a player’s skill based on match outcomes against opponents, factoring in their Tourney scores. Players can keep track of their scores throughout the event and strive to improve by playing as many matches as they can during the set time. Even games starting before the event ends will count if they finish afterward.
Rewards for the Best Players
There’s plenty at stake! The top 10 players boasting the highest individual Tourney scores will snag 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points each. Meanwhile, those landing in positions 11 through 100 will earn 1,000 My Nintendo Gold Points. However, participants must keep their country setting intact; changing it to a non-listed country before prizes are dispatched will result in disqualification. Nintendo also enforces rules against cheating or exploiting game bugs. Such actions could not only disqualify a player but also lead to suspension or termination of their Nintendo Account. Prizes are not transferrable, and no cash alternatives are offered.
Prize Distribution
