Enthusiasts are convinced that this spectacle is thanks to their Ancestors, bestowing them with blessings from beyond in honor of this joyful celebration.

As you make your way through Sanctuary, make sure to activate any Shrine, including Nahantu, to enjoy a 100% bonus experience (which stacks up) for a couple of minutes. You’ll also be rewarded with an enhanced power, plus you’ll gain Ancestral Favor Reputation as a bonus.

Now, if you want to get the most out of the Lunar Awakening festivities, make your way to Ked Bardu and head north in town. There, you’ll come across Ying-Yue, who is in charge of the Lunar Night Market. These special Shrines, which replace the regular ones during Lunar Awakening, not only look different to honor the year of the snake but also double your experience when you activate them. They work much like the regular Shrines but come with a little extra kick for the festive period. You can spot these unique Shrines easily on your map.

Activating a Lunar Shrine gives you a thrilling boost on top of the usual powers. Here’s a rundown of the augmented effects these Shrines bring:

• Artillery Shrine: Random holy bombs may appear.
• Blast Wave Shrine: Explosions trigger a blast of bombardment.
• Channeling Shrine: Boosted attack speed with potential cooldown resets.
• Conduit Shrine: Unleashes potent, continuous shock strikes.
• Greed Shrine: Summon a Treasure Goblin with a chance upon kills.
• Lethal Shrine: Instant kills on monsters, spreading Fear to nearby foes (excluding Bosses and other Players).
• Protection Shrine: Reflect all damage taken, scaling with Level and Difficulty.
