Next month, Rocksteady Studios will wrap up its development efforts on the beleaguered game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
In a recent blog update, the studio conveyed that after releasing Season 4, Episode 8 of their post-launch content, no new updates will be added to this supervillain saga. This final update is set for January.
"Season 4, Episode 8 will conclude the battle against Brainiac and mark the end of new content for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League," stated Rocksteady.
However, fans can take comfort in the fact that all online features will remain active. This means you can still dive into co-op play with friends and relive all past seasonal and episodic moments. Even if you prefer to go it alone, the newly introduced Offline mode ensures you can enjoy the main story and all the additional content without needing an internet connection.
Upon its release in January, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received mixed reviews and struggled in the sales department. Warner Bros, the game’s publisher, has admitted that it didn’t meet their expectations.
