The official statement from Nintendo Canada reveals, “Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada won’t kick off on April 9, 2025. This decision comes as we aim to synchronize the pre-order timeline with that of the United States. Stay tuned for more updates. Meanwhile, the launch date remains set for June 5, 2025.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of such a postponement. Just last Friday, a similar announcement was made for the American audience.
