Forza Horizon 5 Set to Arrive on PS5 as Next Xbox Exclusive Expansion

Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to the PlayStation 5, as confirmed by Playground Games. If you’ve already tackled all the achievements on another platform and feel like diving back in, you’ll soon have the chance to chase those coveted PlayStation trophies. While a specific release date remains under wraps, PS5 enthusiasts can look forward to getting behind the wheel sometime during the spring season.

Playground Games is excited to announce that the beloved Xbox exclusive, Forza Horizon 5, will soon be gracing the PS5. This new version is in development thanks to a collaboration between Panic Button, Turn 10 Studios, and Playground Games. Players can mark their calendars for spring 2025 when the game is expected to launch on PS5. In a recent blog update, Playground Games shared their excitement: “The Horizon Festival is thrilled to welcome a fresh wave of players. With nearly 900 cars to choose from, over 40 game updates themed for variety, and two expansive add-ons, we can’t wait for PlayStation 5 users to hit the scenic roads of Mexico and experience the Horizon Festival firsthand.”

Panic Button is working alongside Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games to ensure the PS5 version mirrors the rich content available in the Xbox edition. This includes two expansions, Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure, plus all the previous car packs ready for purchase.

Moreover, Playground Games is crafting an exciting new free update dubbed Horizon Realms, slated for release across all platforms. This update promises a unique opportunity to delve into fan-favorite Evolving Worlds, with additional surprises to keep players engaged.
