Sure thing, I’ll take $10,000 to name my first child Turok. Not that I have any kids yet, but who’s counting?
So, have you heard? Xenoblade X is making its way to the Switch, complete with “New Story Elements.” Yeah, they decided to tease that in the trailer. Can’t say I’m thrilled about how they did it.
On another note, Nintendo has rolled out a music app. Who knew? I guess we should have expected it at some point, right? They’ve also thrown in a cameo that involves some bloodvertising, for good measure.
After we took a well-deserved break, Gui dove into a couple of brawler classics. He checked out the Switch version of Double Dragon Advance and went retro with Arcade Archives – Metamorphic Force. Meanwhile, Jon’s been knee-deep in the beta of Monster Hunter Wilds, getting a feel for what’s to come. As for Greg, he’s embracing the spooky vibes with Ghouls n Ghosts and the timeless Castlevania. Wrapping things up in New Business, James has been exploring Rogue Flight, paying tribute to good old Star Fox.
The big 900th episode is on the horizon, and we need your help with the inbox. Got anything for us?
Shoutout to Guillaume Veillette, who worked his magic editing this episode. The “Men of Leisure” theme you hear was crafted just for Radio Free Nintendo by Perry Burkum. If you want more, check out Perry’s SoundCloud. Our logo was designed by Connor Strickland; see what he’s up to on his website.
We wrapped up with a bit of “Melancholia” from Xenoblade Chronicles X, composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Both A.G. & Juan C. requested this one, and it’s all rights reserved by Nintendo Co., Ltd.
