There’s even chatter that the announcement might be timed with Sony’s upcoming State of Play livestream on February 12, 2025. Corden has also mentioned he feels confident that another Xbox title, South of Midnight, slated for April 2025, could eventually make a similar transition to PlayStation.

Should these rumors hold true, it would signal a continued push by Xbox to expand its gaming audience by embracing third-party platforms, such as Nintendo and PlayStation.
