Once more, we’re facing a delay for “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” meaning the wait to rack up those in-game achievements is going to be a little longer. Ubisoft has announced that the game’s release is now scheduled for March 20, 2025. So if you haven’t already, this gives you extra time to dive into the earlier Assassin’s Creed titles.
For the second time, Ubisoft has pushed back the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Initially planned for November 15, 2024, the game was first delayed to February 14, 2025. Now, the developer has moved the release to March 20, 2025. Ubisoft explained that they need “a few additional weeks” to ensure players have a “more ambitious and engaging day-one experience.”
In an official statement, Ubisoft shared their enthusiasm over the community’s positive feedback on gameplay reveals since last November. “The excitement from our fans has been incredibly motivating,” they stated. “Every week, we’ve received valuable insights from our community. Although we’ve made significant progress, we feel those extra weeks will help us better incorporate feedback and enhance your experience from day one.”
Despite the delay, the team remains dedicated to delivering an immersive, high-quality adventure, shaped by a collaborative dialogue between the players and development teams.
Over recent weeks, Ubisoft has been examining various facets of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and everything seemed to be progressing well. So, it comes as a bit of a surprise to see the game postponed once again.
