Devs United Games, the creative minds behind the Quest-exclusive hit Real VR Fishing, have exciting news for virtual reality enthusiasts: the game is finally set to launch on PC VR headsets next month.
Slated for an early December release on SteamVR, Real VR Fishing will maintain the same price point and gameplay experience familiar to Quest players. Fans will be pleased to hear that all downloadable content—US West Coast DLC, US East Coast DLC, and both parts of the Japan DLC—will be available on Steam right at the launch.
The core game itself boasts 40 unique fishing spots and over 150 types of fish. For those eager to explore even more, the additional DLC packs enrich the experience with 95 new fishing locations and upwards of 300 fish species to catch.
Though the Quest version of Real VR Fishing includes both solo play and a four-player multiplayer mode, it’s important to note that the Steam version will not support cross-play with Quest, Pico, or other PC VR platforms, according to a statement from the developers to Road to VR.
On the bright side, the Steam version will come with some cool features like built-in YouTube and web browsing, plus regular monthly updates and the ability to customize your aquarium.
Originally debuting on Quest in late 2019, Real VR Fishing has captured the hearts of many, quickly becoming the platform’s favorite fishing game. It proudly holds a 4.6 out of 5-star rating from an impressive community of over 7,200 players.
If you’re looking forward to experiencing this game on PC VR, you can go ahead and add Real VR Fishing to your wishlist on Steam in anticipation of its early December debut.
