I ended up accepting a lower salary than I’ve had in years, with equity that might take a while to materialize. It’s the backbone of the platform, something many of us wished Siri could be. With OpenXR compatibility, developers can expand on the system to create tools, agents, or entire apps.
The goal isn’t merely to turn desktops into 3D. It’s about constructing spatial productivity from the ground up—baking AI into the framework right from the start. It’s a builder’s paradise.
