Chronostrike Unveils a Co-Op Shooter Inspired by SUPERHOT for Quest

Chronostrike has made its way into the virtual reality scene as the newest experience to channel the spirit of SUPERHOT, now offering a cooperative shooter format on the Quest. This latest creation by Greensky Games, known for Swarm 2, introduces an innovative twist on the classic SUPERHOT principle where time progresses only as you move. The game presents 60 intricately designed levels, drawing inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s 2010 cinematic masterpiece, Inception. In the year 2135, time itself has turned into a formidable weapon within a universe where digital memories can be compromised.

Emphasizing the power of collaboration, Chronostrike requires you and a fellow agent to join forces to unravel a “centuries-old” plot that poses a direct threat to Earth. Engage in intense gameplay as you hand off weapons to your partner, elegantly dodge bullets in slow motion, and navigate the challenge where a single hit spells doom.

Launching just last week, Chronostrike steps into a crowded field of SUPERHOT-inspired VR titles. Among the standouts is Action Hero from Fast Travel Games, which infuses the gameplay with a cinematic flair by allowing players to act out different movie scenarios. Meanwhile, COLD VR by Allware flips the concept on its head, making time slow down only when you move, and Vendetta Forever recently introduced a ‘Hot Action’ modifier for added thrills.
